Add and close a promise of payment
The promise of payment is assigned at the transaction level and breeds temporary exclusion the concerned transactions from the recovery process.
If the date of promise is past and the concerned transactions not lettered , please note that the promise of payment shall be considered unrespected. This implies that recovery action generation shall begin again for concerned transactions.
There are four steps to follow to add a promise of payment:
- Select the line(s) of transaction by ticking
- Define the date of promise: according to processing context, the identification of the date must take account of the time for receipt, the processing time and the updated database delay
- Select the payment method
- Add a short comment
Close a promise of payment
A manual closing induce an effective payment.
After clicking on the “close promise of payment” button, you just have to insert the effective payment date to close the promise.
You shall add detailed informations via the “Action/History” button.
